Last week I went there to take a closer look at her work and I didn’t regret. Its really impressed me! Her work is really cool! I loved mostly the serigraph’s posters . For those who have not yet been there, it is definetly worth checking it out. I left there wanting to bring everything home.

“Tara McPherson is an artist based out of New York City. Creating art about people and their odd ways, her characters seem to exude an idealized innocence with a glimpse of hard earned wisdom in their eyes. Recalling many issues from childhood and good old life experience, she creates images that are thought provoking and seductive. People and their relationships are a central theme throughout her work.”

A artista Tara McPherson está no Brasil expondo seus trabalhos na Choque Cultural em São Paulo. Neste último final de semana fui conferir de perto o seu trabalho e não me arrependi. Fiquei realmente impressionado! Gostei muito de tudo! Principalmente dos posters em serigrafia. Quem ainda não foi ver, vale a pena conferir. Saí de lá querendo levar tudo pra casa.

“Tarah McPherson é uma artista situada em Nova Iorque. Suas obras são sobre pessoas e seus modos excêntricos, os personagens dela parecem exprimir um inocencia idealizada com um leve brilho de sabedoria conquistada a muito custo em seus olhos.
Relembrando vários assuntos da infância e dos bons e velhos tempos, ela cria imagens que seduzem e fazem pensar. Pessoas e seus relacionamentos são temas centrais por todo seu trabalho.”
