As the viewer walks by the projection, movements are tracked by a custom computer vision system. A CG dog comes up in the projection and sniffs you, following you as you moves in front of the display and trying to get you to play with it. “Sniff” is a really awesome and creative work by Karolina Sobecka. Check more of her works at her site. I suggest take a look at “Wildlife”, another interesting work with projection.

“Sniff” é uma projeção interativa na fachada de uma loja. Conforme o espectador caminha pela projeção, seus movimentos são rastreados por um sistema de visão computadorizada. Um cão em CG aparece na projeção para cheira-lo, segui-lo conforme seu movimento na frente da tela e tentando levá-lo a interagir com ele. Sniff é um trabalho impressionante e muito criativo feito por Karolina Sobecka. Confira mais trabalhos em seu site.
