“Dreams of Flying” is a serie of photographs by German photographer Jan Von Holleben, who brings strong influence from his parents, a filmmaker and a child therapist and it’s inspired by super heroes, classic children’s books and also for his own memories and personal experiences of childhood. The photographs makes our most nostalgic dreams come true. You can see the serie “Dreams of Flying” on his web site.

Jan Von Holleben began to produce “Dreams of Flying” since 2002 with children of their neighborhood in “South West Germany” and still continue his series  until now. The  brazilian agency Almap used some of his pictures in 2006 to the ad campaign to Gol Airlines called “Made for who always wanted to fly”. Your photos are inspiration for many experimental and also commercial works. The last clip of Coldplay, “Strawberry Swing”, produced by Shynola, in my opinion, was also inspired by your photos, but let’s talk about it latter.

“Dreams of Flying” é uma série de fotografias, do fotógrafo alemão Jan Von Holleben, que traz forte influência de seus pais, um cineasta e uma terapeuta infantil e é inspirado por super-heróis, livros clássicos infantis e também pelas suas lembranças e experiências pessoais de infância. Jan Von Holleben começou a produzir “Dreams of Flying” em 2002 com crianças da sua vizinhança em “South West Germany” e continua sua série até hoje. A Almap usou algumas de suas fotos, em 2006, para anúncios da campanha para Gol Linhas Aéreas chamado “Quem sempre quis voar agora já pode.”. Suas fotos são inspiração para muitos trabalhos sejam eles experimentais ou comerciais. O último clipe do Coldplay, “Strawberry Swing”, produzido pela Shynola, com certeza, também foi inspirado por suas fotos, mas vamos deixar para falar desse último em um próximo post.
