The show broadcasted by a smart and curious kid from his own bedroom explores curiosity and science. It was developed the entire visual identity for the show including the logo of the show, opening/ending sequences, bumpers and inserts throughout the season. For the opening, the concept of the show was presented through the use of objects a kid may have in his room representing his fantastic world of science.</span></p>

Poderia ter sido um vídeo chato, pelo tema, mas pelo contrário ficou uma animação interessante e bonita graças a direção de arte e a técnica escolhida.</span></em></p>

But it&#8217;s great to see the brilliant work of Yuval &amp; Merav Nathan.<br />
Yuval &amp; Merav Nathan are a duo of directors who have in their curriculum some music videos and also some advertising films. After they have done this clip for Oren Lavie, agency Gallegos called them to do something similar for Comcast&#8217;s advertising campaign. It is worth see more works by them at their </span><a href="http://www.onewingfly.com/" target="_blank">site</a><span style="color: #888888;">.</span></p>

<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">Esse clipe de Oren Lavie não é novo e já tinha comentado sobre ele por <a href="http://www.duehara.com/stop-motion/coldplay-strawberry-swings/" target="_blank">aqui </a>em outro post. Mas vale a pena ver o brilhante trabalho de Yuval &amp; Merav Nathan.<br />
Yuval &amp; Merav Nathan são uma dupla de diretores que tem em seus currículos alguns vídeos musicais e também alguns trabalhos em publicidade. Aliás, depois desse clipe foram chamados pela agência Gallegos para fazer algo parecido para alguns filmes da campanha publicitária da Comcast, uma empresa americana que fornece serviços de telefonia, tv a cabo e internet.<br />

With a 2D animation with applications designed with chalk in the background, its used the same <a href="http://www.duehara.com/inspiration/les-kirikiri-acrobates-japonais/" target="_blank">technique</a> by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segundo_de_Chom%C3%B3n" target="_blank">Segundo de Chomón</a>, which also appears in several other clips as the brilliant <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_HXUhShhmY" target="_blank">&#8220;Her Morning Elegance&#8221;</a> by <a href="http://www.orenlavie.com/" target="_blank">Oren Lavie</a>, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz7vGW2_5c0" target="_blank">&#8220;Chasing Pavements&#8221;</a> of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adele_%28singer%29" target="_blank">Adele</a>, the film <a href="http://www.sorry-im-late.com/watch.html">&#8220;Sorry I&#8217;m Late&#8221;</a> by Tomas Mankovsky and the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUSKqnYfc00" target="_blank">Nike</a> commercial for the XGames (which is produced a little different but it uses the same idea) and many others.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #888888;">The two previous post of  <a href="../inspiration/dreams-of-flying/" target="_blank">&#8220;Dreams of Flying&#8221;</a> and <a href="../inspiration/les-kirikiri-acrobates-japonais/" target="_blank">&#8220;Les Kirikiri-Acrobats Japonais&#8221;</a> was a preparation for this post. They showed from where, possibly, came some of the ideas, techniques, references and inspirations. And with &#8220;Strawberry Swing&#8221;, Shynola shows how to use the references and converting them into something new and fun.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #888888;">The film directed by Pete &amp; Flo tells us the life story of a man in stop motion. The film is fun and well produced. But has generated several comments on <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9Et7UQh1tg&amp;eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.creativereview.co.uk%2Fcr-blog%2F2009%2Fjuly1%2Fthe-youtube-dilemma-strikes-again&amp;feature=player_embedded" target="_blank">YouTube</a> on its originality due to its resemblance to the movie <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmkLlVzUBn4" target="_blank">&#8220;Wolf and Pig&#8221;</a> by Takeuchi Taijin. I confess that at the first time I saw it I thought they were the same. Only after hearing a friend doing the same comment from the YouTube guys I started comparing the two films and checking if they were made by the same director. Was it certainly a &#8220;copy and paste&#8221; from the movie by Takeuchi ? Or he  just have inspired them? What do you think?</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #888888;">If they really liked the first film so much why not calling the director of it to do their film? A beautiful example of it is the commercial for Coca-Cola <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKGw_KYH63k" target="_blank">&#8220;What goes around comes around&#8221;</a> directed by <a href="http://www.naginoda.com/" target="_blank">Nagi Noda</a> that had already done something similar in the video music <a href="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2655391433473016805" target="_blank">&#8220;Sentimental Journey&#8221;</a> for singer <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuki_Isoya" target="_blank">Yuki</a>. The article in Creative Review, which is quite interesting,  <a href="http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2009/may/the-youtube-dilemma" target="_blank">&#8220;The YouTube Dilemma&#8221;</a> were about a few cases like these.</span></p>

<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">O filme, dirigido por Flo&amp;Pete, nos conta a história da vida de um homem em stop motion e é divertido e muito bem produzido. Porém tem gerado vários comentários no <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9Et7UQh1tg&amp;eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.creativereview.co.uk%2Fcr-blog%2F2009%2Fjuly1%2Fthe-youtube-dilemma-strikes-again&amp;feature=player_embedded" target="_blank">YouTube</a> sobre sua originalidade devido sua semelhança com o filme <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmkLlVzUBn4" target="_blank">&#8220;Wolf and Pig&#8221;</a> de Takeuchi Taijin. Confesso que na primeira vez que vi o filme da Olympus achei que fosse o mesmo. Só depois de ouvir um amigo fazer o mesmo comentário da galera do YouTube que fui comparar os dois e também conferir se eram do mesmo diretor. Fica a dúvida se deram um &#8220;copy and paste&#8221; do filme de Takeuchi ou apenas se inspiraram nele. O que vocês acham?</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">Outra questão é: se queriam algo tão parecido porque não chamar o autor da primeira obra para executar o filme?
